3,8 tons of trash collected from International Coastal Clean-up 2012 by AMCHAM

TANNER Vietnam has joined for the 2nd time the International Coastal Clean-up 2012 event together with more than 500 AMCHAM volunteers (American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam) and collected over 3.8 tons of trash.

The Coastal Clean-up Day has been initiated by a non-profit organization, Ocean Conservancy, since 1986. After 26 years, the Coastal Clean-up program has become one of the biggest volunteer activities in the world striving for the sustainability of the ocean.

This year’s Coastal Clean-up destination was Long Hai Commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province with the records of more than 500 AMCHAM volunteers attendance and 3,8 tons of collected trash.
